INTERNALIZATION OF INCLUSIVE VALUES IN FORMING RELIGIOUS MODERATION IN STUDENTS

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing inclusive values ​​in shaping religious moderation in students. The background of this research is based on the importance of strengthening attitudes of tolerance, openness, and respect for differences amidst the diversity of Indonesian society. An inclusive approach in education is seen as an effective strategy for instilling the values ​​of religious moderation in students from an early age. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included teachers, students, and school officials involved in the process of learning and cultivating inclusive values. Data analysis was carried out through systematic data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the internalization of inclusive values ​​is achieved through several strategies, namely integration in learning, teacher role models, the habituation of open and tolerant religious activities, and a school culture that supports mutual respect. The impact of this process is seen in increased attitudes of tolerance, mutual respect, and students' ability to respond to differences wisely. Thus, the internalization of inclusive values ​​has proven effective in shaping religious moderation in students. This study concludes that teachers and the school environment play a crucial role in developing inclusive education as a strategic effort to strengthen religious moderation among the younger generation.
